Pencil Sharpener Bookends.

sometimes you have to decide if you want to just sell some as is for the collectible price aspect. Or repurpose it into something even better. You know what I did. Wood plaques $1 for the box, granite spray paint and the two pencil sharpeners I picked up for $1 each. I first cut and sanded the plaque to ready for paint. Spray painted the two halves with the granite (love the hard look) attached the pencil sharpeners. and BAM! bookends. The pencil sharpeners could have been resold on eBa or Etsy for $15 - $22 each. But I like the idea of a great teacher gift for under $ 30.00.

Mason Jar Lamp

$2.00 broken lamp, aluminum spray paint and one 1qt. Mason Jar. I measured the diameter of the socket, Penciled the circle inside of the top of the mason jar. Drilled about 20 holes around the circle and cut it out using a wire cutter. I then filed the inside to remove any spurs. I then spray painted the top and the lid with a aluminum spray paint to match the brushed silver lamp.
Note: It is important to drill extra holes to alleviate heat build up inside the jar. the coolest part is find a decorative bulb the looks great and won't blind someone.

Chandelier Bird Feeder

As soon as I saw the light fixture at a G-sale for $3 I new it would turnout to something cool. Same day I picked up these 9 tea cups for $2. After removing the wiring and sockets. I glued (E6000) the cups down on the fixtures boboches. I removed the top one and instead added crystal trim at the top to give it that pop. $5 invested, for sale for $ 30.00.
